Booking your portrait: 

1. Fill Out the Contact Form

Start by completing the form on our contact page with a few details about the type of session you’re interested in. This helps me understand your vision, preferred locations, and ideal timeframe.

2. Schedule your 15-Minute Discovery Call

Once I receive your inquiry, we’ll schedule a quick discovery call to discuss your goals, answer any questions, and determine the best portrait session for you. This call ensures your experience is personalized from the very beginning.

3. Reserve Your Date

After we confirm the details, you’ll reserve your session with a retainer and signed agreement. Your date is officially locked in, and we’ll begin planning wardrobe, styling, and location details.

4. Plan Your Portrait 

Before your portrait day, we’ll schedule a private planning session to design every detail of your experience. Whether you’re preparing for a portrait session, high school senior portrait, headshot, branding session, or commercial project, this is where we refine your vision with intention and clarity.

Together, we’ll discuss wardrobe styling, color palettes, fabrics, and the overall aesthetic you’re drawn to—clean and minimal, soft and romantic, editorial and bold, or polished and professional for your brand. For branding and commercial clients, we’ll also review your brand identity, key messaging, and how your images will be used across websites, social platforms, and marketing materials.

We’ll select outfits or looks that flatter, elevate your presence, and photograph beautifully. We’ll also go over location options, lighting preferences, props, and any creative direction or storytelling elements you’d love to include.

This thoughtful preparation ensures your session feels seamless, cohesive, and elevated—whether you’re stepping into the studio, creating imagery for your business, or planning a timeless portrait.

5. The Day of Your Portrait Session

Arrive ready to relax and enjoy the experience. Whether it’s in the studio on Isle of Palms, downtown Charleston, at the beach, or at your barn, I’ll guide you every step of the way to create beautiful, authentic images.

6. Your Image Reveal

Within a few days, we’ll meet for your image reveal—either in person or via Zoom. You’ll  select your favorite images, and finalize any prints, albums, or artwork.
