Hi, I’m Heather.

I’m a photographer based on Isle of Palms, serving Charleston, SC and the surrounding Lowcountry.  With over 20 years of experience, I bring both technical skill and an artist’s eye to every session.

My work blends wedding, studio, branding, women’s portraiture with collaborative, thoughtfully creative shoots for everyday women and women-owned businesses, to wedding documentaries.  From elevated headshots and branding to fashion-inspired portraits, historical concepts, and food & beverage and commercial photography for small businesses, each session is intentionally designed to reflect who you are — not just what you look like. I also create a curated collection of fine art pieces for those who want something truly timeless.

My Isle of Palms studio is where I craft images — and makeup — that feel beautiful, authentic, powerful, and a little bit fierce. I’m drawn to the color red. It’s beauty’s most enduring shade — bold, dramatic, emotional. Rouge has colored lips and cheeks for thousands of years, and to me it represents photography itself: light, mood, art, history, and depth.

When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me riding my horse Gatsby, spending time with my dog Tyra, at the gym, or wandering through Charleston’s historic streets and incredible food scene.
