Headshots? Creating Your Digital Handshake!

Most introductions happen online . Whether it’s LinkedIn, your company’s “About” page, or social media, you're an influencer, CEO, content creator, or you work in coorporation . your headshot is others, first impression of you. Think of it as your digital handshake—your chance to "win" make a great first impression without saying a word. People do business with those they, like, know, and trust.

I am Heather, a Photographer based in Charleston, South Carolina, I would love to help you with your headshot or branding for your business. I love helping small businesses with headshots, branding, and website imagery.

Here’s why having a professional headshot is so important:

1. It Sets the Tone

A confident handshake, a great headshot sets the tone. A polished photo tells people you’re serious about what you do and shows confidence, professionalism, and you're approachable. Even if we are doing business with your company, most people like someone that is friendly.

2. It Helps Build Trust

As people connect with faces, not just names. A headshot with a genuine smile or a confident look helps people feel like they know you. People will remember you based on your headshot, and what you look like. It’s a simple way to build trust and make your profile stand out.

3. It’s Part of Your Brand

Your headshot is a big piece of your personal or professional brand. Whether you’re climbing the career ladder, running a business, or freelancing, a consistent, professional image makes you look relatable.

4. First Impressions Matter

People form opinions in seconds, and an outdated or low-quality photo might not say what you want it to say. A high-quality headshot makes sure this is the best version of your self - it's the brand of you.

5. It Tells People Who You Are

Your headshot isn’t just a picture; it’s a introduction to be seen and heard. Whether you want something traditional, fun, or a little creative, your photo should match your vibe and the image you want to share with the world. It's your contact card and putting your best face forward.
